Lenders, Realtors, Attorneys, Home Inspectors and Insurance Agents can gain valuable business leads and help your community by volunteering as speakers at our Home Buyer Education Classes. Lenders are also encouraged to speak at our Gateway Orientation classes. Lenders – you must be a DHOC Member to participate. Realtors – you must be a member of the Mainstreet Organization of REALTORS to participate. Home Inspectors - must be a member of either NAHI or ASHI to participate. On Wednesday, January 30, 2013, the DuPage Homeownership Center will be joining approximately 20 other area agencies to count and survey homeless individuals in DuPage County. We need as many volunteers as possible to make this a successful and accurate count. DHOC also receives points on grant applications for participating in the count and bringing volunteers. Volunteer Training is Tuesday, January 15, 2013, from 6:30 - 8:30pm.
